  • Recruitment and Promotion (R&P) Rules: The state has specific R&P rules for various teaching positions, including:
    • Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
    • Junior Basic Teachers (JBT)
    • Classical and Vernacular (C&V) Teachers
    • Clerks & Junior Office Assistants (IT)
These rules define qualifications, experience, and procedures for recruitment and promotion.
  • School Safety and Security Guidelines: Issued in February 2025 to enhance safety measures and create a secure learning environment for students.
  • Transformation to English Medium Schools: Since the 2024-25 academic year, certain government schools have been converted into English medium institutions to improve English proficiency among students.
  • School Adoption Programme: The "Apna Vidyalaya" initiative encourages community and stakeholder participation to support local schools and enhance educational outcomes.
  • Age Criteria for Admissions: Implemented in December 2024 in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, standardizing entry ages from Nursery to Class 1.
